PROFILE

My background is that of fully qualified chef and food service manager. I find this experience allows me to empathise with those in the food industry whom I now teach.

I have been registered as a Centre with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) since 1997 as "NLG food hygiene consultancy" and in an audit they awarded my centre 98.4% overall, qualifying for the prestigious CIEH "Centre Of Excellence".

They noted that as a trainer I have a "diverse working knowledge of the different working environments and practices. This was reflected by the discussions with the students."

It was also stated: "The trainer presented a comprehensive session plan covering general aspects of the training session." and

"The centre has a wide ranging system of support for the candidates with any special needs."

My key strengths are reliability, versatility, patience and diplomacy; this married to a good sense of humour ensures the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. I have always been an enthusiastic learner and relish the opportunity to undertake new challenges.

Qualifications that I teach:

Teaching Food Safety from the CIEH level 1 to level 4 for small and large companies all over the UK. Some of the more well known include Mecca Bingo, McDonalds, Autism West Midlands, Heart of England Care Homes. I also undertake to work periodically for training centres such as Solihull and Dudley college.

Teaching level 1 to level 3 "Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points" (HACCP), food safety management system
